Results of Clinical Study
The results of a clinical study of using the SILVER LINE toothpaste containing the original thermostable composition (TSC +) showed that its daily use combined with radiation and chemotherapy improves the parameters of cellular immunity in patients with cancer. The toothpaste has good organoleptic characteristics and does not cause side effects. Before clinical study all patients had a decrease in CD3 + and CD4 + lymphocytes. In the group where patients used INFANETIM Technology SILVER LINE toothpaste combined with anticancer therapy, the above mentioned immunological parameters were normalized. Thus, the content of CD3 + lymphocytes increased up to 69.7% (p <0.05), CD4 + lymphocytes - to 40.6% (p <0.05). The ratio of NK (natural killer cells) in the lymphocyte population increased from 2.9 to 7.3% (CD3 / CD16). In addition, a statistically significant change in the immunoregulatory index CD4 + / CD8 + was revealed.

The most active cells in the destruction of a tumor are CD8 + lymphocytes (cytotoxic T-lymphocytes or T-killers - CTL), which directly contact tumor cells and destroy them, and CD4 + lymphocytes (T-helpers that enhance the immune response and activate T-killers), transmitting information on tumor cells. While CD8 + plays a direct cytotoxic function, CD4+ contributes to its successful implementation through secretion of cytokines. CD3+ is a T-cell coreceptor that is involved in activation of both CD8+ and CD4+. Natural killer cells (NK cells) are another type of cells that carry out anti-tumor immunological surveillance.
In malignant tumors, a complex violation of the body's immune status occurs. Often, with the generalization of the oncological process, the use of cytostatic and radiation therapy, surgical intervention, changes can be accompanied by a decrease in the functional activity of various immune cells. Such decrease causes secondary immunodeficiency, an imbalance of effector and suppressor cells, as well as a reduction in activity and total number of circulating antitumor lymphocytes.
